It is tempting to write "This is what I want to say"
We should be writing "This is what the reader needs to see"

Did you go to St Marylebone Grammar School? If you did, you should become a member of the Association. The Association was formed in XXXX by some old boys. We now have around 300 mmembers. Why don't you join? Each year, a few old boys discover the Association and join.

We are a bunch of addicts of the old school. We feel that the school gave us something special.

Are we a bunch of old fuddy-duddies? Probably. Most of us are now 'grown up' and many ex-pupils have made important contributions to society in general.

We have various functions during the year, when we get together for various events - AND we talk about Old Times. You will find details on the Future Events page.

We send out a Newsletter twice a year, that has all sorts of information about the past events at the school and things that current members are doing.
